karthiks Named a regional finalist for the Princeton Prize in Race Relations, which recognizes high school work on race relations. The next step is getting the grant provision in front of the people who can move it.
krishnab Third session with this YMCA group. Today was training data, and why a model can handle one voice and not another. A student asked why captions keep misreading hers, which is the question ConvoAAVE exists to answer.
varunk Annotation weekend. The transcript set passed 80,000 words. Every session is recorded with consent, the audio stays under restricted access, and the transcripts are the part we publish.
vincentw Rewrote the evaluation to score each construction separately instead of reporting one blended error rate. A system can look accurate on average and still miss habitual be nearly every time.
aditig Outreach at three churches on Saturday. Most of the day went to explaining what a speech corpus is and where the recordings are stored. Four families signed up to record.

saisatvikk June cohort wrapped. Nearly 900 students have been through AI Pathways Camp since 2024. The three-hour format works well, though we are rewriting the second session to cut down the matrix notation.
